October Staff Spotlight: Steven Churilla

Q: How long have you worked for ISLE/Purple Cat?
A: A really long time, probably from when they opened, I was at Marinelli.

Q: What is your job here?
A: I work outside with Greg at the Farm. I also work 2 days a week at the Candy Store Downtown. I think I’m the only one that does that, has two days there.

Q: Which Client from ISLE/Purple Cat/Golden String inspires you and why?
A: Danny Kerr. We went to Kalahari together and we had a lot of fun. I like him, and I like all the staff here, really.

Q: Wow, Steven! I would’ve never guessed that! Is it because you are so quiet and you like how talkative and loud he is?
A: Yeah, he talked to me a lot on that trip.

Q: What is your favorite Candy Bar and why?
A: Anything chocolate really. It tastes good.

Q: What is your favorite song and why?
A: I don’t have a favorite song. I don’t have a favorite band. I like a little bit of everything. Anything on the radio is OK.

Q: If you could be any animal what would it be and why?
A: A dog. I have two dogs and we would hang out together.

Q: What is your favorite game show of all time?
A: Jeopardy. I like that show and I used to watch that show where they build houses but I don’t think it’s on TV anymore? But that’s not a game show, but I liked it a lot. Home Makeover, that’s the one.

Q: What is your favorite place in the Youngstown area to get pizza?
A: Wedgewood Pizza. We go there sometimes with Golden String, Dinner with friends. I didn’t go this last time, but I do like their pizza.

Q: Name one of your favorite books?
A: I don’t really read books, is that ok?

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in the world?
A: I like that Texas Roadhouse place in Boardman, they have that cinnamon butter on these fresh rolls…
