It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of our friend, Michael Caughman. His housemate Isaac Gordon and morning staff member, Margaret, found him lying peacefully in his bed around 5:30 this morning. Michael looked as if he was dreaming. Isaac stated that Michael was up using the restroom at 1:30am.
Michael was a funny man and full of both kindness and mischief. He loved eating, especially doughnuts and cake with “buttercream” icing. He also loved to travel and recently visited Las Vegas with an ISLE crew. I have many, many stories involving Michael and am eager to share them with you. Several involve the authorities and most involve food.
Michael has two older sisters, Anita and Janice. Calling hours and funeral for Michael will be
March 10 at Third Baptist Church.
10 am – Calling Hours
11 am – Funeral
Please help our friends with disabilities try to understand his passing and have peace with it. Michael is probably eating a big cake with his Mother in a warm locale, a girl under each arm. He will be drinking wine with Bela Lugosi later.
Love you all,
