Our friends from the giant eagle bakery came in to do a cake decorating demo!
Coco Lewis and Jessica Devito have been cake decorators at the Giant Eagle bakery for about 10 years. They came in equipped with cakes and tons of icing to show us the tricks and techniques behind their talent. This was super exciting for all us, especially learning how they make those intricate roses!
All of us got a chance to put what we learned into action by decorating a cookie with sleeves of icing and special tools right from the bakery, but only the brave challenged the rose!
